COURSE DESCRIPTION
Our Intermediate English course is designed for intermediate learners. This level concentrates on varied grammatical structures and expands vocabulary to include topics like current events and personal stories. Boost your conversation skills with discussions and debates. Engage in challenging listening and reading exercises, and refine your writing abilities. The cultural content broadens, offering insights into diverse English-speaking communities’ customs and lifestyles.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- Deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling in an area where the language is spoken.
- Produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
- Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
- Write personal letters describing experiences and impressions.
- Understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- Explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
- Link phrases together into a connected, linear sequence of points.
